People in need of sheltering or other services can get up-to-date information from 211 Sacramento.


Families experiencing homelessness can self-register for County of Sacramento emergency shelter services by visiting the County of Sacramento's family shelter reservation website and answering a few questions.​

Youth and young adults in crisis can visit the Wind Youth Drop-in Center.

Those seeking behavioral health support can visit one of the 10 Community Outreach Recovery Empowerment (CORE) program sites , located throughout the County.​

Homeless Interagency Solutions Team

The Homeless Interagency Solutions Team (HIST) was formed in June of 2022, in response to a collective desire to bring together a collaborative interagency approach to service engagement and planning for adult residents of the county who are experiencing homelessness and who have the most significant or complex needs.
